Current Project: Magnetic reconnection in laser-produced plasmas
Brendan McCluskey grew up outside of Chicago, IL and completed his undergraduate degree in physics at Georgia Tech. After interning at the National Ignition Facility for the summers of 2022 and 2023, he became interested in the fields of high-energy-density science, inertial fusion energy, and diagnostics. Continuing to pursue these areas, Brendan is working with Will Fox on data analysis of laser-driven magnetic reconnection experiments. He can be reached at [email protected] and would be happy to discuss the program with prospective students. Outside of research, Brendan is active with the ultimate frisbee community at Princeton and serves as an outreach chair on the Graduate Student Committee.
