Research Interests:

  • Magnetic reconnection
  • Magnetorotational instability in the lab
  • Magnetic field effects in high-energy-density (HED) laser plasmas, including magnetic reconnection
  • Magnetohydrodynamic surface waves and free-surface MHD flow in liquid metals
  • Dynamo effects in laboratory plasmas
